Holly Rees, COACH & Founder
Holly Rees is an Auckland-based qualified Career Coach (ICF Certified Academy Course) with over 20 years of experience including as a successful in-house and agency recruiter including at executive level, and a practitioner and hiring manager herself across multiple geographies and corporate industries. Personally, she has successfully navigated multiple career transitions; changing from a career in Banking into People and Culture and from there, into Technology and then into Parenting and running a Business! Holly understands first-hand both the fear and challenges, along with the opportunities and fulfilment, that come with career change - she has lived it, has likely felt how you are feeling right now, and loves helping others find the courage to live and work in stronger alignment to their values and potential. She combines her coaching, leadership, hiring, and recruitment experience to deliver career solutions that bring you greater happiness, balance, and fulfilment.
Fuelled by a strong desire to help people feel empowered and pulling the strings in their career, her mission is to champion and support the career endeavours of as many people as possible.
Holly’s passion for Coaching and Career Empowerment has evolved into a busy career business where she spends her day doing what she loves most; changing lives one person at a time by delivering exceptional Career Coaching, Career Strategy Sessions, and Interview Coaching.
Holly understands first-hand the feelings that accompany competing priorities in life. She is an advocate of keeping things as simple as possible along with constant refinement and reassessment when it comes to balancing career goals with other important aspects of life. Holly firmly believes:
“Values, priorities, and what and who we choose to have in our life shifts and changes over time, therefore it’s not only ok, but imperative that we constantly re-evaluate what feels right, and pay attention to what is calling out to be changed. How I operated and the hours I worked in my twenties, is entirely different to how I approach my career now. I’m constantly refining my approach and goals as my career desires evolve, and I continue to do this to this day. Values-led change in both career and life more broadly is what I am so deeply passionate about helping others with”.
